We can't confirm that Ted's Woodworking has an official standalone app. As far as we can verify from public information, it is sold as a digital plan collection accessed through the official website, not through an app store listing we can point to. Because that can change, check the official site for current delivery details before you buy.
Why the question comes up
Many people expect a woodworking product to live in an app. Some search results and ads also use "Ted's Woodworking app" wording, which can be confusing. Using the phrase doesn't mean an official app exists.
What to do if you see an "app"
- Start at the official site. If an app is real, the official site should link to it. If it doesn't, treat the listing with caution.
- Check the publisher name in any app store listing. A random developer name is a red flag.
- Be wary of "free download" offers for the full collection. See are free woodworking plan PDFs safe to download?
- Don't enter payment details on a page you reached through an unfamiliar ad. Our guide to spotting fake Ted's Woodworking sites, copycats and misleading ads explains what to look for.
